The New Superintendent
This short story is set about two years before Chapter 1 of "The Geronimo Solution."
John McAllister and the rest of the prisoners incarcerated in the Yuma Territorial Prison have been hearing rumors that the new prison warden, Superintendent Frank Ingalls, is a cruel man intent on inflicting misery upon the inmates. When Mac is pulled from a work detail and hauled to the superintendent's office, he wonders how bad can the new man be.
New Beginning
This short story is set approximately two weeks before the opening scenes of Chapter 1 of the novel "The Geronimo Solution."
John McAllister has finished his time as a prisoner at Yuma Territorial Prison. Now in his forties, Mac is smart enough to know that if he doesn't make the right choices after his release, he might very well end up right back behind bars. Or worse!
